The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluation and implementation of appropriate and prescribed physical therapy services to each assigned patient in order to restore, reinforce and improve performance of functional skills and to promote quality of life. The PT provides clinical supervision to staff and students and assists program development and marketing. This position has exposure to communicable disease and body fluids. This position spends the majority of time walking and/or standing (up to 60% of work time). Frequent lifting, pushing and pulling of up to 50 lb. is also required (up to 30% of work time). This position serves a variety of age groups: pediatrics (5% of work time), adolescents (%10), adults (35%) and geriatrics (50%). Frequent local travel is required.. Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy and licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Arkansas and two years of experience in a similar clinical setting. |
