Personal Service Assistant - Brookstone-FT (6a-2:30p & 2:30p-11p)

POSITION SUMMARY- Provide assistance to the resident in a manner that meets or exceeds BrookStone Community expectations; these responsibilities include being familiar with and prepared to fulfill responsibilities as outlined in the following position descriptions: Laundry/Housekeeper, Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper and Waitress/Bus Person. Provide assistance with activities of daily living. Provided assistance with residents personal environment. Assist in meal preparation/presentation and serving to residents, as well as other dining related responsibilities. Perform routine housekeeping services in resident rooms and community areas. Document care provided and resident history. Provide information and encouragment to residents and families.

SKILLS/EDUCATION REQUIRED-High School diploma or equivalent certificate required. Possess no criminal background. Patient care skills as usually demonstrated by completion of a CNA course. Solid work history in similar facility is preferred. Be physically able to lift at least 20 pounds when needed. Be physically able to push at least 40 pounds without assistance. Be able to work well under pressure and in a changing environment.

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
