POSITION SUMMARY (include other positions that report to this position) This position is responsible for initiating and conducting all physician prescribed procedures related to respiratory therapy. Assists other patient care personnel as needed. This position has exposure to communicable disease. Majority of time is spent standing and / or walking of short distances (up to 60% of work time), with frequent lifting, and carrying of up to 30 lbs. and pushing / pulling of up to 200 lbs. (up to 30% of work time). A variety of patient populations are served. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED LRCP with AR License, CPR DESCRIBE THE SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL COMPETENCIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION A knowledge of pulmonary care practices as demonstrated by a completion of an accredited respiratory therapy program followed by certification and / or registry examination and licensure.
Additional Information Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.
