POSITION SUMMARY- The nurse assistant has a dual role which includes patient care and provides clerical support to the department staff. Duties include but are not limited to : assist staff nurses with patient admissions, obtain vital signs, transport patients, provide basic patient care, transfer and discharges of patients, patient chart assembly, ordering supplies, entering charges and orders. Other procedures and duties upon instruction from director or charge nurse. SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED- Highschool/GED and CPR |
